WHY NOW

Most workplace mental health support goes unused

The average UK employee assistance programme is used by fewer than 1 in 10 staff in a given year — not because people don't need support, but because an anonymous hotline is a hard thing to reach for. Poor mental health costs UK employers an estimated £51 billion a year, and Deloitte's 2024 research found employers see roughly £4.70 back for every £1 they invest in supporting their people's mental health.

The Resident Therapist Programme is built to close that gap — with someone your team knows by name, not a number to call.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A protected clinical resource, not five appointments in a diary

9:00–9:30 — Arrival, clinical preparation and liaison

9:30–10:20 — Therapy

10:30–11:20 — Therapy

11:30–12:20 — Therapy

12:20–1:00 — Notes and lunch

1:00–1:50 — Therapy

2:00–2:50 — Therapy

3:00–4:00 — Drop-in availability, clinical admin, or agreed manager consultation

4:00–4:30 — Notes and follow-up actions

We don't fill a day with back-to-back sessions — that leaves no room for proper risk management, notes, or the unexpected. You're purchasing time and presence, not just appointments.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR TEAM

Confidential by design

Your organisation receives high-level utilisation and outcome information, where there's enough data to preserve anonymity. Clinical content and identifiable information are never disclosed, except where we're legally or ethically required to act because of serious risk.

Where we do share insight into what's happening across your organisation, it comes from workshop feedback and aggregated data — never from informal interpretation of anyone's private therapy conversations.

HERE’S WHAT THAT CAN LOOK LIKE FOR YOU

Corporate Therapy Access

£160 PER SESSION

Confidential 1:1 therapy with the same named therapist throughout — no on-site commitment needed. £160 per session, or £960 for a six-session allocation.

In-House Therapist Pilot

A three-month trial to prove the model — one dedicated day a week, on-site or virtual, with a full review at the end.

Dedicated In-House Therapist Partnership

FROM £4,200/MONTH

Our flagship offer — four protected days a month with a named therapist who becomes part of your organisation, not an anonymous helpline.

LET’S FIND YOUR SOLUTION

WHO YOU'D BE WORKING WITH

A consistent, experienced clinician — not a rotating panel

Natalie McCandless — BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with 17 years' experience across the NHS, the London Fire Brigade, private organisations, and her own practice. She also runs groups and workshops, with a particular specialism in supporting women through transitional life phases — including motherhood, perimenopause and menopause.

James McCandless — BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist since 2008, also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and provides clinical supervision.

Together, you get a consistent named clinician your team gets to know — face-to-face in London or virtual — offering treatment, early intervention and prevention, with a genuine understanding of burnout, transitions, neurodivergence and workplace pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from our EAP?

An EAP gives your team access to an anonymous, often rotating panel of counsellors, typically with a handful of sessions and low take-up — UK-wide usage sits below 1 in 10 employees a year. The Resident Therapist Programme gives you a single, named therapist who becomes a familiar, trusted presence in your organisation, combining therapy with early intervention and prevention.

How does our business sign up?

Get in touch through the website or by email. We'll arrange an initial consultation to understand your team and agree the right starting point — Corporate Therapy Access, the Pilot, or the full Partnership.

What happens at the end of the pilot?

We review usage, outcomes and feedback together, then agree whether to move to the ongoing Partnership, adjust the shape of the offer, or step back — no obligation either way.

Can this work remotely?

Yes — every tier is available virtually, and we can run a hybrid mix of on-site and virtual sessions depending on where your team is.

Will you tell us what's discussed?

Only at an aggregated, anonymised level, and only where there's enough data to protect anonymity. Individual clinical conversations stay confidential — see "Confidentiality and clinical governance" above.

Do you offer workshops separately?

Yes — 60–90 minute workshops from £950, bespoke half-day training from £1,500, and workshops can be added into an existing retained contract from £650–£750.
